Carl Weathers passed away this last week and left a void not many are aware of. We knew him as Apollo Creed, the brash, Mohammad Ali style heavyweight champion of the world, who in the beginning served as the foil to Rocky Balboa, Sylvester Stallone's character in the Rocky franchise. What fewer people know was the depth of the man who not only created a plethora of characters in so may other films and television projects, but also as a director/filmmaker with of hundreds of credits.
