Mary J. Blige's "Stairway to Heaven"
I present my review of this Documentary / Music Video of the re-creation of the Led Zeppelin original in the hopes that you will join me in celebrating not just the music but also the Directorial brilliance in which this production was crafted by a Director, Cameraman, Editor, crew and staff for whom I cannot find any credits. If anyone has such information, please post it in the comments below.
This presentation is so engaging and well done that I was compelled to share it here in the Crew List "Music Department". They obviously spared no expense when it came to putting this entire production together as the cinematic artistry clearly matches the music. As a review, I truly believe it speaks for itself, but I welcome all observations.
As to the on camera/vocal and musical talent, we have Mary J. Blige of course on vocals; guitar master Steve Vai and his awe inspiring protégé Orianthi panagaris on rhythm and lead guitars, respectively; Travis Barker on drums and Randy Jackson on bass, with music producer Ron Fair (Christina Aguilera, Pussycat Dolls) handling piano, the arrangement and recruitment of the all-star musicians
