Motion Picture Teamster Division Director Lindsay Dougherty speaks out on solidarity
The WGA is on Strike. Teamsters are not on Strike. Whether you are working or not, our members cannot join the picket line. Motion Picture Teamsters members cannot strike or picket any of the companies in the AMPTP while our agreements are in place. If you are scheduled to go to work, you should report to work as normal. If you encounter a picket line on your way to work, most Teamster agreements include language that protects a Teamster member’s right to choose not to cross.
